Programs & Services

TAX SEASON STARTING MARCH 11TH AND GOING TO APRIL 26TH MONDAY – FRIDAY 10AM-2PM EVERGREEN HALL AND COTTONWOOD MALL

The Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) is a collaboration between the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and community organizations. Volunteers assist low-income seniors and persons with disabilities with simple income tax and benefit returns. For more information, please call 604-793-9979

BY APPOINTMENT We are available to assist with both hard copy (paper) and online forms or applications accessing the most recent forms for:

  • SAFER
  • Medical Services Plan Regular and Temporary Premium Assistance;
  • Parking Permit Program for People with Disabilities;
  • Canada Pension Plan Retirement Pension;
  • Old Age Security Pension;
  • HandyDART and HandyCard;
  • BC Housing;
  • and many other support services offered to seniors.

Aimed at offering support to low income seniors in need.

Housing Support Program Supporting seniors to access affordable and appropriate housing through information, community resources and form assistance. There are several grants, subsidies and programs available provincially and municipally to qualifying applicants including: SAFER (Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters), HAFI (Home Adaptations for Independence), property tax deferral and homeowner grants. Contact our office for information or to book an appointment for form completion. Other housing resources include: weekly rental list, tenant advocacy, support at home.
