Welcome! The Seniors’ Resources Society is glad you’ve stopped to check us out!

Our website is a sneak peek into what we offer for seniors in Chilliwack.  As a Seniors’ Resources Society, our goal is to provide programs, services, resources and activities to local seniors in order to promote wellness and independence and to decrease social isolation. Our activities are open to all members.

Monday through Friday from 9:00 am  – 4:00 pm, our office is bustling with activity!  Located at Evergreen Hall, 9291 Corbould Street, most of our recreation activities take place here, the Mount Cheam Lions Hall

and the Landing Sports Centre.

One of our most popular services is our Bus Trips: your hosted tour will take you as close as Fort Langley for a historical afternoon and tea, a little further for a daytrip to Squamish for the Sea to Sky Gondola or a longer trip like a week on Vancouver Island or a Rocky Mountain Vacation at Three Valley Gap.  We’ve had excursions to Hawaii, Alaska, China, and a cruise from Montreal to New York City with stops in between.  If you enjoy an active lifestyle, we offer Pickleball, Zumba, Line Dancing, Yoga, Floor Curling, Badminton, Table Tennis, and Carpet Bowling.

For those who are new to our community or in need of resources, we have a resource room with publications, brochures and contact information for community organizations and support services.  City of Chilliwack maps, the Leisure Guide, Transit Guide, seniors groups, information on income support programs, government forms and applications are also available.  For seniors who need assistance with Income Tax preparation, form completion or automated telephone systems, our staff and volunteers would be happy to assist you.
